Having an event in the calendar is great to focus training and is the best way for me to keep in some kind of shape.
I have done Great North Run 3 times,
The Stampede 3 times and
The Keilder Marathon…. well, once was enough for that one!
But I am now in my 50’s and find it takes longer to recover from running, so time to try something new…
Working in a busy office it is important to stay active and many of my colleagues have hobbies such as Cycling, Walking, Golf and so on, so I thought it would be a great idea to get a few of us together for a joint challenge and perhaps raise some funds for charity.
We have decided on “Race The Sun” which is a Dawn to Dusk Triple Challenge!

- Weir Insurance Hero’s
